Nick Kafkalas founded Nicon Built in Port Melbourne in 1990, and still personally runs every job today. What began as one builder coordinating trades across Melbourne's inner south has grown into a trusted team — but the approach hasn't changed: one call, one point of contact, everything managed properly from first conversation to final handover.

Founded in Port Melbourne, Nicon Built was established by Nick Kafkalas after decades of experience delivering some of Melbourne's largest and most recognised construction projects, including the Bolte Bridge, Burnley Tunnel, State Library redevelopment, and Melbourne Museum.
Working on projects of this scale built a strong foundation in precision, planning, and quality workmanship. These are the principles that continue to guide every project we deliver today.
